Whats up with the rush

Life is a rat race and we are all on the wheel spinning. Which I swear is electronically enhanced to move at the speed of sound by commericalism and social media. We could not get through Halloween without someone putting up, posting or airing something about Christmas. REALLY PEOPLE..........the state of the worlds poverty is catostrophic and you want to promote buying. Way to show your sympathy. I for one would just like the stuff to stay out of stores till 11/1 and then put it up but quietly till thanksgiving. You can send out your holiday flyers just dont put your holiday crap out there on the loud speaker. My husband slows down at christmas time when it comes to work. Christmas starts for me in like July, putting stuff away, layaway and stashing where ever possible. I dont need you to promote more things that my kids "JUST HAVE TO HAVE"! I want the holidays to be pressure free, we are supposed to relax, spend time with family (yeah right if you seen my earlier blogs the family unit is almost non exsistent) and enjoying the holiday festivities such as holiday shows and going to see christmas lights. Gone on the days with chopping down your own tree (which we still do at our house), sleigh rides and carols at the hearth. I know I am a throwback, but I live for the simpler days and ways. I live to find silence in the loud "bullhorn" noisy world that doesnt even stop to smell the roses.
